I am a psychotherapist, writer, poet, and digital artist. I am also a lifelong student of ideas, especially the places where psychology, philosophy, history, art, mythology, physics, and metaphysics meet.

I was born and raised in Georgia, later moved to Norway, and now live in Maryland. Moving between countries, languages, and cultures has shaped how I understand identity, memory, belonging, and the stories people carry with them.

My background is in cognitive psychology and psychotherapy. In my clinical work, I help people navigate anxiety, relationships, trauma, intimacy, and life’s transitions. I try to meet that work with compassion, honesty, and curiosity.

I created the Elsewhere Universe as a place where the subjects I care about can speak to one another. It brings together stories, philosophy, art, music, history, science, and the questions that do not fit neatly into one discipline.

I write because I am curious about how people make meaning, how ideas travel through time, and how imagination can help us look at reality from another angle. This website is where I gather that work as it develops.
